He was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on 13 June 1976 and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His basketball home became Run-N-Shoot in Atlanta — the court he named as his own on his 2004 AND1 player card.
AND1 found him there. He turned professional in 2000, and in February 2001 Mixtape Volume 3 went out on free VHS and did the rest. The tour became half-hour Streetball segments on ESPN2 and ran until 2008.
He is still working. In 2026 alone: AND1 All-Star Weekend, SLAM's Rapid Fire, and a headline basketball week in Honolulu.
